I too was curious to find out which books Sarah Palin wanted to ban, and a bit disappointed that as of yesterday afternoon there was nothing on ALA's website.
What I did find (Time mag online) indicated that she had asked the librarian if she'd be willing to ban books that Palin found objectionable. It could be that there was no list, which makes the whole thing even more frightening: why bother compiling a list of books you've never read, with a corresponding list of objections, when you, as an individual censor, can say, "I don't want these books here."
