Hello all,
My friend works on Capitol Hill for Congressman Ed Markey from Massachusetts, whose office is very active on the telecomm committee. He said they passed a law that if telemarketers continue to bother you after you ask them not to, there is actually legal recourse you can take. This is the website he forwarded me that you can use to walk through the process of making them stop: http://www.junkbusters.com (Apparently this site has scripted questions you can actually ask the telemarketers and in turn use the info to take them to court!)
I've never had to do this myself, but hopefully it will help anyone who wants to try it.
Best of luck,
Kristen
