Is anybody familiar with an art technique that incorporated actual
butterfly wings into a painting or decorative art object? According to
my patron it was popular during the Victorian era and he wanted to know
if the technique had a name and if any information could be found on the
topic. I have not been able to find anything on the subject. Any
suggestions would be welcome.
