Recent artists have explored the theme of Job in book form. One that comes
to mind is Beverly Brodsky's The Story of Job, published by George Braziller
in 1986. Brodsky won a Caldecott for her earlier book, The Golem.

Subject: Artist's rendering of Job

----------------------------Original message----------------------------
A patron will be teaching a class on the Book of Job and is looking
for illustrations of interpretation by various artists. Other than
William Blake, does anyone know of artists who have either used Job as
a theme or have done a painting or two? I thought Rouault might have,
but haven't come up with anything specific.

Thanks.
