As 1999 winds down, please remember that it is not too late to make a
tax-deductible contribution to the ARLIS/NA 25th Anniversary Fund.
The 25th Anniversary Fund drive was inaugurated in an effort to commemorate
ARLIS/NA's first quarter-century. Contributions to the Fund are added to
the scholarship fund, an endowment established in 1997 to promote education
in art librarianship and visual-resources curatorship. The first awards,
in the form of paid internships in art libraries and visual-resources
collections, will be offered in 2000 through a program overseen by the
Professional Development Committee of ARLIS/NA.
Please join numerous contributors to the Fund, including individual
members, business affiliates, local chapters, institutions and the
Dictionary of Art of Grove's Dictionaries, Inc., in supporting ARLIS/NA's
25th Anniversary Fund.
