Hello all,

I would like to suggest that The Banff Centre be considered as a future
conference site.  Only 1 1/2 hours from Calgary, the Centre has world class
conference facilities (accomodation, fine dining, recreation, etc.), and a
contemporary art gallery on-site (The Walter Phillips Gallery).  The Centre
for the Arts is a multidisciplinary professional development institution,
encompassing visual and media arts, music, dance, writing, publishing,
theatre, and Aboriginal arts. If you throw in the fantastic scenery, I think
this would be a great place for an arlis conference!
