----------------------------Original message---------------------------- I agree that Las Vegas is a terrific suggestion. Lots to do and see with good conference infrastructure including up-to-date technology. Besides airfare, lodging, and meals may be fairly reasonable. I think that Ottawa, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Atlanta, DC, Mexico, Boston, Santa Fe, Tucson all sound good for future conferences. I'd love to go to NYC, but I think that there are many infrastructural problems associated with holding a conference there. I'd urge that we make sure that our future conference sites are in a variety of geographic areas to give members who have limited travel funcs a chance at attending a conference which is nearby.
