I think Las Vegas could be a great site.  There are a lot of interesting
things going on at UNLV, there could be wonderful trips to the Grand Canyon
and Hoover Dam (an Art Deco marvel), we could have sessions on Vegas
architecture, popular culture, etc., and the airfare, hotels, and food can
be much less expensive than DC or Atlanta.

Maybe our Vegas colleagues can let us know what else we would find of interest.
