Do you have easy access to old issues of Vogue?
[New York, ISSN 0042-8000]]
If so, please read below.

A library patron is searching for a mention of the High Museum of Art's
painting, "Lady in Black Velvet" by Robert Henri. The artist wrote a letter
to Eulabee Dix, the subject of the portrait, saying that the painting was
mentioned in the December 1911 issue of Vogue in a story about the MacDowell
Club exhibition.

Without any page numbers, I can't request an interlibrary loan. Also, we
can't find anyone in the Atlanta area that has the actual serial dating back
to 1911 or who has Vogue on microfilm. I feel so lazy asking, BUT would
anyone out there with easy access to the December 1911 issue mind looking
for an article or review of an exhibition at the MacDowell Club? You can
either e-mail me the citation or fax the article to me. Thanks in advance.
