        Elizabeth Dwyer is a graduate student in English at Rutgers University.
She is completing a dissertation entitled "The Paradox of Visibility:
Representing Latinas in Culture and Society," a study of the "booming" of
Latina literature and the articulation and negotiation of Latina identities
in U.S. mass media and film.

        This lecture is free and open to the general public.  You can meet
Elizabeth Dwyer at a reception following her talk.  This event is funded by
a grant from the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation.
