The New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting =26 Sculpture seeks
candidates for the position of Art Librarian.

The New York Studio School is a small, highly regarded school devoted to
drawing, painting and sculpture. The School is located in New York's
Greenwich Village.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

=B7 Solely responsible for managing the John McEnroe Library of the New
York Studio School.
=B7 Provides reference services in art history to students, staff and
faculty.
=B7 Responsible for collection development in art and art history.
=B7 Catalogs books and exhibition catalogs.
=B7 Responsible for maintenance of picture file slide collections.
=B7 Organizes and maintains video archive.
=B7 Serves as the Studio School's web master.
=B7 Supervises work-study students.

QUALIFICATIONS:

=B7 ALA-accredited MLS
=B7 Undergraduate degree in Art History or Studio Art.
=B7 Minimum one year professional art library or visual resources
experience.
=B7 Knowledge or experience in the fields of fine art or art history.
=B7 Knowledge of HTML and experience with web design.
=B7 Ability to work independently.

Full-time. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
