----------------------------Original message---------------------------- ------------------ It gives me great pleasure to post the following message from the CCA's Chief Curator, Nicholas Olsberg: I am pleased to announce the appointment of Gerald Beasley as Head Librarian at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, effective 6 July 1999. Following six years as Early Works Librarian at the Royal Institute of British Architects, and two at the Wellcome Institute for the History of Medicine, Gerald joined the staff of the CCA Library in 1993, first as Descriptive Bibliographer, Rare Books, and more recently as Senior Bibliographer. He was co-author of the catalogue of the British Architectural Library's Early Imprints Collection, and a contributor to the catalogue of the Millard Architectural Collection at the National Gallery of Art in Washington.
