----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Dear list-- Could some kind soul please take a look at this image http://www.lib.utexas.edu/Libs/PCL/Map_collection/historical/Titsingh_Simahara.j and tell me if you think it is a: 1) hand-colored lithograph 2) hand-colored engraving 3) color engraving It's from a book of "maps" published in London in 1822. I do not have the book in hand, and do not have enough experience with prints to be able to tell from this image what technique has been used.
