Rather, I'd just like to share with colleagues news about an
exhibition catalog that might otherwise escape notice. If you
are close enough to visit, don't miss seeing the show. It
continues till Oct. 24, although the rest of the "Splendor
of Florence" festival ends next week.

A catalog (see below for citation) is available for the
exhibition of ten Medici portraits from the Uffizi with
accompanying prints, textiles, jewelry, etc. from U. S.
Collections (RISD, the Met, BMFA).

This exhibition is mounted as part of "Splendor of Florence,"
the first phase of a cultural exchange between Florence and Providence.
