ARLIS/Ohio Valley Chapter Travel Award - Fall 1999
The deadline for applying for the Fall 1999 Chapter Travel Award is
September 30th. The Fall Meeting will be held in Cleveland, Ohio, October
22, 1999. We encourage interested members to apply. The award may be
particularly beneficial to those members involved in committee work for
the ARLIS/2000 Conference, professional members with limited
institutional support or student members. Details for application are
listed below. Application information is also available at the Chapter

AWARD CRITERIA: The award will be granted based on one or more of the
following considerations: financial need, level of chapter
participation, ARLIS/NA affiliation, first-time attendance, and
contribution to the meeting.
APPLICATION:
1. Submit a letter of application to the Travel Award Committee
addressing any relevant
award criteria and indicating how you will benefit from the meeting.
2. Include information regarding any available travel funding from your
institution.
3. Please include a current resume.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS:
Applications must be postmarked on or before September 30, 1999.
Recipients will be notified by October 6, 1999 and must confirm in
writing that they will be able to attend the conference. The award will
be presented at the meeting. Award recipients are not eligible to apply
again for three years. After receiving the award, the recipient must
submit a short professional or institutional profile for subsequent
Collage publication. If you need additional information or have any
