Liz:
Biographical information on Joseph Daniel Masheck (1942- ) can be found in
Contemporary Authors (no. 105), various Who's Who in America and the 13th
through the 20th editions of Who's Who in American Art. Generally, basic
biographical/bibliographical information on art historians can often be
found in Contemporary Authors. It's probably easiest if you identify a local
UK library with these holdings and have them fax you the page.
The information above I found here was entirely obtained from the Gale
product, Biography and Genealogy Master Index online, a great index for
locating other sources of biographical information, though not exhaustive.
It works well for art historians.

Dear ARLIS-L,
A Research Professor here needs a short CV of Joseph Masheck, an art history
academic, teaching at a private university in New York, I believe.
If anyone can send me any details about him I would be very grateful. We
have one book he edited:
Marcel Duchamp in perspective, Prentice-Hall, 1975.
Many thanks,
Liz
