P L E A S E P O S T Job announcement NEW YORK SCHOOL OF INTERIOR DESIGN Library Title: Library Associate Classification: non-exempt; regular part-time Reports to: Director of the Library Schedule: 25 hours per week when classes are in session; Monday-Thursday, 4:30-9:00 p.m. and Saturday (except summer session) 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Essential function: to provide circulation desk services evenings and Saturdays Responsibilities: Supervise the circulation desk, insuring accurate charge-out and check-in of items; Assist patrons in locating items and resources; Supervise and train student employees evenings and Saturdays; Oversee equipment and supplies, reporting problems promptly; Supervise the reserve collection, updating on a semester basis and implementing the electronic reserve module; Assist in serials control; Supervise & perform physical processing of new acquisitions; Complete other assignments from the director as needed.
