Dear ARLIS/NA Members,

I recently put out a call to members concerning a new ARLIS/NA Special
Appointment to AMICO (Art Museum Image Consortium).

Daniel Starr, Chief Librarian, Technical Services & Planning, Museum of
Modern Art Library, has been appointed to this position, effective
immediately.  This will be a one-year, renewable term, reporting to the
President.  As the ARLIS/NA Representative, he will work with AMICO on
their project to develop descriptive guidelines for art documentation.

Daniel will be providing updates to the membership on this initiative in
the future.
