I am interested in doing research on the Bibliotheque Nationale de France. I would like to focus on the scope of their digitization projects related to "cultural patrimony" (particularly the Gallica project) as it relates to the history of the library. I would like to go to France to conduct this research and am looking for contacts and information. While there, I would also be interested in taking classes in French History, Library History, and Library Science. If anyone has any advice or information for me, I would really appreciate it.
