your ideas--soon. The ARLIS Mountain West meetings are small, friendly
and fun. Take advantage of this excellent opportunity to make a
presentation in a cordial yet professional setting, and to bask in
Tucson when it's chilly further north!
CALL FOR PAPERS
ARLIS/Mountain West Regional Meeting
November 11-14, 1999 Tucson, Arizona
The ARLIS/NA Mountain West chapter is seeking proposals for
presentations or workshops at its regional meeting in Tucson. We are
interested in the separate themes of management, technology, and art and
architectural history of the Southwest and encourage submissions on
topics such as copyright/fair use, digitization, web publishing, grant
writing and funding, archives and preservation, collections management,
art and architecture reference, and library instruction. Proposals that
connect more than one area, or other creative ideas outside the
suggested topics are welcome.
Please include: speaker's name, affiliation, address, telephone and fax
numbers, e-mail address; title of proposed paper; abstract of no more
than 100 words; equipment requests.
Proposals may be submitted electronically by e-mail, by fax or by
surface mail. All proposals are due by July 30, 1999 and should be sent
