The server is probably not started. ----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Our local branches of Christies have been very helpful. I discussed with one of them the possibility of an e-mail mailing list. They were concerned about confidentiality for subscribers but this is hardly a problem for libraries and could be solved by giving people the choice to be on the list or not. In the meantime I am told they are investigating. However, I think we need to keep up the pressure. A letter from a number of ARLIS organisations world-wide would certainly carry more weight than individual complaints. In the meantime they have offered to fax results on request - so keep requesting! The e-mail list solution has got to be a lot less work than sending out hundreds of faxes - for both sides.
