Dear list members
In Holland we also have trouble in getting price lists from Christie's.
Sotheby is doing rather well. If you are planning to send a letter to
Christie's (and/or other auction houses as well) we will gladly sign that
letter as well. Here "we" means the Netherlands Institute for Art History
(RKD) as well as ARLIS/NL. Perhaps we can manage to write a letter signed by
ARLIS/NA, ARLIS/UK, ARLIS/NL and other art library societies? And why not
also the Art Libraries section of IFLA? That is why I send this message to
the Dutch Arlis (OKBN) as well as to Geert-Jan Koot who is secretary of the
Art Libraries section of IFLA.
