----------------------------Original message----------------------------
I'm delighted to announce that the new guide to library and archival
exhibitions on the
web is now "live". The address is:

http://www.sil.si.edu/SILPublications/Online-Exhibitions/online-exhibitions-
title.htm

There are currently over 350 links to online exhibitions created by
libraries, archives,
historical societies, and museums. This guide is limited to exhibitions
based on
library and archival materials (e.g. books, manuscripts, prints and the
graphic
arts, etc.) and is the successor to the site that existed on the University
of Houston
home-page. Please send the addresses of online exhibitions that you do not
see listed to [log in to unmask]

I'm also interested in constructive criticism and feedback that will help to
make
this guide more useful as it evolves over the next several months. The site
is still under construction and the links to the Smithsonian Institution
Libraries
home-page have not been made yet but will be soon, so please use the above
address as the direct path to reach the site.

Thanks for your attention!
