At our division business meeting in Vancouver, the following program topics were discussed: emerging partnerships/ consortial = relationships=3B student use of institutional/ individual artists' archives (eg. Andy Warhol Archives)=3B Andy Warhol and his early work as a fashion illustrator=3B = the early history and development of art education programs. In addition, Henry Pisciotta, at the Carnegie Mellon University Libraries, = is interested in having our group sponsor a visit to their institution and has suggested the following topics of interest: a visit to Carnegie Mellon's = Studio for Creative Inquiry, a =22think tank=22 of art and technology projects=3B = a presentation on =22gizmology=22 by a professor of art and computer = science=3B a visit to the School of Art and Design lab facilities=3B an exhibit of materials = from their artists' book collection=3B a visit to a robotics lab=3B a tour of = the library facilities=3B a presentation on the history of their industrial = design program (one of the oldest in the nation)=3B and a demo/discussion of the = AMICO Library and other digital image resources (they expect to have this and the = AP Photos).
