I need advice from librarians whose collection development
responsibilities include video art.

In Claremont we are looking at the possibility of collecting examples of
video art.  To date, we have purchased only the art and artist
documentary and exhibition survey types of videos.

I would appreciate hearing from all who have policies--or general
guidelines--that cover the acquisition, content, access, and
preservation of video art.  Please email me directly; I will be happy to
summarize the responses to the list.
