Dear ARLIS Colleagues,

Please see the message below from Martha Hall about her retirement from
the University of the Arts. Martha worked at the University for over 25
years and certainly has earned her retirement. The library and University
staff will miss her a great deal! Please join us in wishing her much
happiness in retirement.

Subject: Retirement

Friends and Colleagues: I will be retiring from the library at The
University of the Arts (UArts), formerly the Philadelphia College of Art,
as of Wednesday, May 19th. I have been at UArts for over 25 years and a
member of ARLIS/NA for over 15. UArts has been a good place to work as it
has been both challenging and satisfying. As you well know ARLIS is a
great source of information, support, challenge, and friendship and I have
benefited from all of these over the years. I will miss my contacts both
at the university and with ARLIS as an association and individuals. I am
satisfied, however, that this is the right time to move on to new
endeavors and to give more time to old interests both in and out of
library work. I hope that I will have contact and visit with some of you
over the coming months and years. Keep up the good work. Art
librarianship is the best of careers and I will miss it. My home phone
and address are in the directory and my new e-mail is
