The New York Public Library Artists Files on Microfiche, which we have, has
the reproductions on pp. 50-55 but not the text; if your search doesn't turn
up another source we can at least send you the images at no cost.

Subject: JOURNAL ARTICLE

----------------------------Original message----------------------------
DEAR LIBRARIANS:
I am looking for a copy of The American Art Student Magazine, December 1926,
pp.48-55. The article on these pages is entitled "He paints from snow
drifts",
and is concerned with the Vermont artist, Arthur B> Wilder (23 April 1857 -
15
February 1949). Interlibrary Loan through OCLC has not been very helpful.
Can
you help with any suggestions? I've been told that Harvard University Fine
Arts
Library has the journal in question on microfilm but charges twenty dollars
for
a copy. Anything abit less costly for eight pages of photocopying would be
appreciated.
Thanks, Will Bricker, Free Library of Philadelphia
