Dear ARLIS/NA Members,

I want to let everyone know that the Pittsburgh Conference Committee has
been working hard on the preliminary planning for our next annual ARLIS/NA
Conference March 16-22, 2000.  Please check out the conference web site for

A reminder that program proposals are due May 31, 1999.  I'd like to
challenge members and groups to submit forward-thinking session topics.
Where is our profession going in the next century?  What issues will we be
facing?  What can we do to ensure that our libraries and resources are
maintained in years to come?
