ARLIS/NY is pleased to be offering a summer tour to CRAFTSMAN FARMS,
the home and studio of Gustav Stickley on SAT. JUNE 19 from 9:15-1:30.

This Arts & Crafts movement masterpiece features the studios where the
"mission style" furniture was produced along with glass and metalwork. We
will also see the home which is being restored and walk through the
gardens.  The gift shop will also be open.

Many ARLIS members will know Stickley from the magazine "The Craftsman"
which began publication in 1901 and was devoted to popularizing his
furniture and related work in crafts, architecture and interior design of
an Arts and Crafts-inspired nature.

Space is LIMITED TO 49 people. There will be a charter bus leaving NYC
at 9:15am on June 19. We will depart Craftsman Farms at 1pm and arrive
back in NYC at approx. 1:30. There will be NO FOOD provided, so if you think
you'll need a snack, bring your own.
