The topic of the meeting will be Digital Projects in the Arts: Current Realities/Future Prospects, with the following presentations: African-American Sheet Music Digitizing Project at Brown, An LC/Ameritech American Memory Project, Rosemary Cullen Using the Web to Provide Campus-wide Access to the Collections of the Art Slide Library at Brown University, Norine Duncan, Lori Jargo A Briefing on the Art History Image Exchange Project, Max Marmor In the afternoon, there will be a choice of a demonstration of IRIS, a FileMaker Pro Application Implementing the VRA Core Categories at Brown or a presentation/discussion of the Innovative Interfaces joint project in the RISD Library and the Providence Athenaeum. Finally there will be a walking tour of Benefit Street (we promise NO snow) and a reception at the Providence Athenaeum. The preliminary schedule is attached.
