Susan,
The conference web site has a link to the Vancouver airport url,
which details the 'money' facilities available at the airport: a
full service Royal Bank, and ATM's that dispense in either US or
Canadian dollars.  According to the web site, the ATM's are
outside, not inside the security gates.  I would guess the
airport shuttles would accept US$, but usually the exchange rates
used by such businesses are not as good as the rates from
financial institutions.
