Hi, being a mystery fan myself, I'd love to see the compiled results of this
topic!

Here are a couple off the top of my head:
Janice Steinberg, DEATH OF A POST-MODERNIST
    Carol O'Connell, KILLING CRITICS

I believe Marcia Muller wrote a series of books featuring Joanna Stark (sp?),
who seeks out art forgeries, and Elizabeth Peters has a series as well
featuring an art historian.

There are several excellent Web sites (which also contain great links) where
you can search by topic. The ClueLass Home Page is a good place to start.
Try these:

    ClueLass Home Page -- http://www.cluelass.com/
The Mysterious Home Page -- http://www.webfic.com/mysthome/
The MacGuffin Guide to Detective Fiction -- http://www.macguffin.net/
    The Book Browser -- http://www.bookbrowser.com/Detmyst/mysteries.html#top

Have fun sleuthing !!
