Ask ARLIS 3 session hosted by the
International Relations Committee
 "Connect and Collaborate: Art Libraries Around the World"

ARLIS/NA continues to develop strong international ties with art library
organizations and librarians as we approach the millenium. This session
will bring together a group of distinguished colleagues from countries
outside of North America as well as the current Chair of the IFLA Art
Section.

Our speakers will highlight developments, current challenges, and special
projects in art libraries in their respective countries or regions.
Following remarks from the participants, there will be a time for questions
and discussion.

Margaret Shaw, Chief Librarian at the National Gallery of Australia
Research Library in Canberra, Australia.

Debby Shorley, Pro-Librarian at the University of Ulster at Jordanstown and
is the current chair of ARLIS/UK & Ireland.

Anja Lollesgaard, current Chair of ARLIS/Norden and Librarian
at the Danish Museum of Decorative Arts in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Jeannette is the Librarian and Electronic Communications Director at the
Hirsch Library of the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, Texas.
