Description: Process collections of architectural drawings, prints, photographs, and other visual materials relating to the history of New York and the U.S. Create item-level databases and revise existing cataloging. Identify items needing conservation or rehousing. Provide oversight and workflow management for a digitization project. Supervise the work of one archival technician. Qualifications: M.A. in architectural history, historic preservation, art history, or American history; 2 years relevant experience including historical archival and research experience; database experience; ability to work as part of a team and to manage multiple complex processes simultaneously. Project management experience preferred; experience with photography or digital imaging desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of American and/or New York history and experience working in humanities collections. Salary: Salary commensurate with background and experience.
