Many thanks to all of you who have responded to the questionnaire we sent =
out in
preparation for the Ask ARLIS =22Who's That Knocking at My Door?=22. This =
is just a
little nudge to those others who have not yet returned your questionnaires. =
 We
are running a =22special=22, and you now have until March 12, 1999 to get =
yours
in--e-mail, FAX, or snail-mail. I am re-sending the questionnaire. We hope=
 to
hear from you soon. You may also bring it to the Ask ARLIS session on =
Saturday,
March 27th, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.

In preparation for an Ask ARLIS entitled =2AWho=2As That Knocking at My =
Door?:
Issues of Access, Fees, Service and Clientele=2A, to be presented at the =
Vancouver
Conference in 1999, we are asking ARLIS members to complete the following
questionnaire. The aim of this Ask ARLIS is to ascertain how member =
libraries
are handling issues such as access to their collections, fee-for-service,
limitations to reference services, electronic resources, etc.

In addition, we would be interested in receiving written policies and =
statements
which are in place at your institution which address these matters (e.g.,
entrance policies, fee-for-services, price lists, reciprocal borrowing =
cards,
etc.).

Written materials and completed questionnaires may be sent to us as follows:
