ARLIS Website Readers:

The ARLIS/NA Jobsite (http://www.lib.duke.edu /lilly/arlis/jobs.html) is
ready for a purge of the later 1998 job postings. Is there consensus among
the membership that these job descriptions should be saved to a
member-accessible "archive" site somewhere on the AWS? Would the ability to
review posted job descriptions be valuable to individuals?

The Jobsite is a rather informal date-ranked list of job postings, taken off
of the ARLIS-L or sent to me directly. They are posted without charge.
Because this webservice is informal, there is no operating criteria about
archiving the job postings. The ARLIS website itself is preserved
periodically and stored in the Society archives.

You may respond to the listserve, to myself directly or to either Sam Duncan
or Roberto Ferrari, who, together with the President of ARLIS, comprise the
AWS Advisory Board.
