The Spring Meeting will be held in Columbus, Ohio, Thursday and Friday, April 22 and 23. We encourage interested members to apply. The award may be particularly beneficial to some who are involved in committee work for the ARLIS/2000 Conference, professional members with limited institutional support or student members. ARLIS/OHIO VALLEY CHAPTER TRAVEL AWARD APPLICATION The ARLIS/Ohio Valley Chapter offers a Spring 1999 Travel Award. A grant in the amount of $200.00 is available to any Ohio Valley Chapter member to assist in the expense of attending the Columbus meeting, April 22-23, 1999. AWARD CRITERIA: The award will be granted based on one or more of the following considerations: financial need, level of chapter participation, ARLIS/NA affiliation, first-time attendance, and contribution to the meeting. APPLICATION: 1. Submit a letter of application to the committee addressing any relevant award criteria and indicating how you will benefit from the meeting. 2. Include information regarding any available travel funding from your institution. 3. Please include a current resume. After receiving the award, the recipient must submit a short professional or institutional profile for subsequent Collage publication.
