Responsibilities include original and copy cataloging in all areas of art history, book arts, and photography, utilizing AACR2, LCSH, and LC classification. Assistance with acquisitions also expected. Qualifications: MLS, B.A. in art history or equivalent; reading knowledge of two foreign languages; MUST have cataloging experience with RLIN; strong understanding of AACR2 and MARC. Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience; 13 days vacation annually; TIAA-CREF; excellent health insurance. Preference will be given to candidates with formal training in art history and the ability to work independently.
