Regarding: Give away The National Museum of Women in the Arts has a collection of a couple hundred photographs of artwork to be given away. These are reference photos, mostly 8x10, black and white. There are a few 5x7 photos, slides, and negatives. They are all of various artworks from the 16th century until the 1960s, and may be useful in a vertical file collection. They are, however, outside of the collecting scope of the library and research center at NMWA, as the artwork is all by male artists (including Picasso, Gorky, Delacroix, deKooning, Calder, Rodin, etc.). We would be happy to ship the entire collection to a single repository (sorry, it would be too time-consuming to look through the collection for photos of individual artists for repositories!). We only ask that we be reimbursed the shipping expense.
