----------------------------Original message---------------------------- ------------------ We are halfway through our project of doing about 60,000 volumes. We = decided to put the barcode inside the back cover at the upper right (except in rare = books). If the endpaper was decorated and of a different design than the front, the barcode went on the next to last page. We do circulate to selected groups of patrons (staff, museum members, art students at the local university- we are housed in their art building) and = do use a scanner. We decided to put the barcodes inside to protect them from rubbing and also to minimize the chance of their falling off. If you would like further information, please call me. Anne O.
