ARLIS/NY has been invited to a special presentation by Dr. Constance
Lowenthal, director of the Commission for Art Recovery of the World
Jewish Congress. Dr. Lowenthal will speak to members of the New York
Chapter about the Commission for Art Recovery's activities for the
reinstatement of art and cultural properties looted during the
Holocaust. This event is being hosted by Christie's on Park Avenue.
Christie's will provide a preview of the videotaped Mauerbach Benefit
Auction and discuss the results of the sale.
