The University of Georgia has three volumes of this catalog raisonne. Christian Zervos published a 33 volume catalogue raisonne beginning in 1932. This Picasso Project series updates and expands on the Zervos. The volumes I have examined show an effort to give a concise textual discription of Picasso's works over the time period covered in that volume followed by black and white reproductions of each work. The Picasso project reproductions are four to a page and are inferior to those in the Zervos catalogues mainly because they are smaller. I would say they are probably a good investment for a research library but I would not recommend them for every library. I did find three reviews in Choice for volumes as they came out. They are in June 1996 V. 33 n10 p 1632, October 1996 V. 34 n2 p. 269 and Oct. 1997 Vol. 35 n. 2 p. 286. Marilyn R.
