----------------------------Original message---------------------------- I am a recent subscriber and have been lurking on this list for only a short span of time so please forgive me if I ask questions that have been covered thoroughly at another point in time. As I work in a visual resources facility my main concern is how technology is being implemented in the libraries. Since imaging and the web are the focal point of so much discussion I was wondering if these technologies had manifested themselves in any decent on-line journals. While I know that electronic journals are more prevalent in the sciences I was wondering if anyone is subscribing to any art journals on the web and if so how many? Are they decent or excellent? I have also noticed discussions about specific cd-roms and was wondering what percentage of the libraries are being developed in this area _ I know cd-roms have replaced a good many print items- how is this affecting the library as a whole?
