A patron is looking for the name of, and information about, a style of
Japanese painting in which the skin of a human figure is painted with the
same pattern as the background. For example, if the figure is set against
a brick building, the skin would be decorated with brick patterns. The
figure thus becomes difficult to spot unless you look closely. Any
suggestions?
