DELAWARE COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN (DCAD), a creative partnership of the
Corcoran School of Art and Pratt Institute, located in downtown Wilmington,
seeks a part-time (12-15 hours/week) librarian to supervise the formation
of a specialized teaching collection in art and design for a dynamic, new
institution. Salary: $10,000.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: directing, maintaining and promoting library
services, including cataloging an existing collection of approximately 3000
volumes; formulating and implementing library policies; developing the
collection, including print and electronic resources; supervising student
workers; developing and administering the library budget; planning for the
growth and expansion of the library.

CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE: an MLS from an ALA-accredited program, a degree in
art and design, or art history, or equivalent experience; cataloging
expertise; knowledge of personal computers and electronic information;
management skills.
