The Doctor is a painting by Luke Fildes and is now in the Tate Gallery, =
London.
I cannot help you with prints, but the work is published in the exhibition
catalogue (not a good reproduction) :

        Treuherz, Julian
        Hard Times : social realism in Victorian art.
        London : Lund Humphries, 1987
        Manchester City Art Galleries.

The exhibition also travelled to the Yale Center for British Art (1988).

     I hope someone can help me with this. I have been asked to find some
     quick information on a print or painting called =22The Doctor=22. There=
 is
     a young girl on a bed or chair in the foreground with a doctor sitting
     looking at her. In the background, not immediately apparent, the
     parents stand, the father with his arm around the mother, the mother
     with her face in her hands.

     Does anyone know:
     1) the name of the artist
     2) where the original is
     3) are there any prints or copies available in North America
     (preferably Canada)
