Position Available: Reference / Electronic Resourcs Librarian
Full-time position
Reports To: Librarian
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide reference services to students, faculty and staff
Provide library instruction to classes, small groups and individuals
Assist in other aspects of public service as needed
Supervise student workers during evening hours
Assist director in developming an electronic resources LAN and
implementing a new automation system
Opportunity to assist in collection management and serials
control
activities
Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
MLS from an ALA-accredited program and an academic background in art or
art history is required. Candidate must have strong interpersonal
skills and the willingness to assist where needed. Two years reference
experience in an academic or art library instruction experience
preferred. Experience with electronic resources, automation systems,
and/or networking CD-ROMs and remote databases desired.
