----------------------------Original message----------------------------
Hello everyone,
I am leaving tomorrow for a much needed vacation. I will be out of the
office and incommunicado until July 27th. I have chosen for my vacation
destination as remote a place as I could find - the Amazon rain forest! No
e-mail, no phone, in fact no electricity! SO, (here is the important part)
I will be taking the list off moderation while I am gone. This means that
there may be some junk mail come across the list. Maybe even some
invitations to view XXX web sites. The best thing to do is to ignore it
and delete it. Do not respond with mail saying how this shouldn't be on
the list. This just fills up everyone's mailbox. The other critical
factor with this interim period is that there is no way to take back mail
that you have already sent. I routinely (just about every day) get mail
saying that mail was sent by mistake to the list and would I delete it.
Just be careful what you send - if you respond to list mail it goes to
everyone! As far as list maintenance goes - I will append at the end of
this message the directions for unsubbing from the list and for setting
your account to "no mail". If you need help today with something send me
e-mail at [log in to unmask] or give me a call at 257-0500 extension
2090. Thanks everyone - remember the motto for the next 2 weeks is "think
before you send!"
;-)
