After seeing this started, I thought I would clarify. There are two
graduate programs in Michigan. Mostly recently, U of Michigan, has changed
its program name to reflect a different focus. It is now the "School of
Information". The graduate program at Wayne State University continues to
reflect more traditional needs with its "Library and Information Science
Program." While U-M may be dropping its cataloguing classes, (I was not
able to confirm this), WSU will continue to offer these classes. So
cataloguing may not be available "at Michigan," but they will remain
available "in Michigan."

Cheers,

Mary Galvin
