broadcast live of one of a series of lectures.
Professor Alessandro Barchiesi (U. of Verona) speaking on
"Knowledge and Power: Epic Responsibilities". In passing it can be
mentioned that the series theme is "Augustan Poetry and Hellenisation:
Cultural and Textual Settings" and that the first lecture, "Space:
Mapping
and Plotting Hellenisation in Epic" is also available ('unlive'). Both
